About Dpc MR 250mg/50mg/500mg Tablet
Dpc MR 250mg/50mg/500mg Tablet is used in the reduction of musculoskeletal pain due to tissue injury, resolution of post surgery inflammation and oedema (swollen tissue with fluid). Musculoskeletal pain can be caused due to soft tissue (muscle, tendon, and ligaments) injury.
Dpc MR 250mg/50mg/500mg Tablet is a combination of Diclofenac, paracetamol, and chlorzoxazone. Diclofenac works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX), which causes pain and swelling. Paracetamol enhances the pain-relieving action of Diclofenac. Chlorzoxazone helps by blocking nerve impulses sent by the brain and causes relaxation of muscles.
Like all medicines, Dpc MR 250mg/50mg/500mg Tablet may cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Most of the side effects of Dpc MR 250mg/50mg/500mg Tablet are drowsiness, constipation, diarrhoea, stomach upset, slight discolouration of urine, and ringing or buzzing sounds in the ears. In case of any discomfort, speak with your doctor.
Dpc MR 250mg/50mg/500mg Tablet can be taken with or after the meal. To avoid stomach upset Dpc MR 250mg/50mg/500mg Tablet can be taken with food or milk. It should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. Do not take Dpc MR 250mg/50mg/500mg Tablet if your pain lasts for more than ten days or if the fever lasts for more than three days. Do not take a double dose if you miss one dose.
Do not take Dpc MR 250mg/50mg/500mg Tablet if you are allergic to painkillers like aspirin, paracetamol, naproxen or diclofenac. It is not recommended for use in children, people with liver disease, heart disease or gastric ulcers/bleeding problems. Dpc MR 250mg/50mg/500mg Tablet may be associated with a small increase in the risk of heart attack (myocardial infarction).
