Ecit-Plus Tablet is used in the treatment of anxiety disorder. The detailed uses of Ecit-Plus Tablet are as follows:

• Major depressive disorder: Ecit-Plus Tablet improves mood, energy levels, and interest in daily activities.
• Management of generalized anxiety disorder: Ecit-Plus Tablet reduces excessive anxiety and its symptoms like restlessness and tension.
• Panic disorder: Ecit-Plus Tablet is used to prevent and manage sudden panic attacks with or without agoraphobia.
• Social anxiety disorder: Ecit-Plus Tablet minimizes fear, nervousness, and avoidance in social interactions.
• Treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder: Ecit-Plus Tablet reduces unwanted repetitive thoughts and compulsive behaviors.
• Support in post-traumatic stress disorder: Ecit-Plus Tablet reduces symptoms like flashbacks, anxiety, and hyperarousal after trauma.

Ecit-Plus Tablet is a combination of two medicines: clonazepam and escitalopram oxalate. It is used to treat anxiety disorders. Clonazepam increases the effect of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and produces a calming effect by suppressing the abnormal activity of nerve cells. Escitalopram oxalate is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI); it increases the serotonin levels in the brain, thereby improving mood and behaviour.

• Ecit-Plus Tablet can be taken with or without food.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Swallow the Ecit-Plus Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not chew, crush, or break it.

• Attend therapy sessions regularly.
• Eat a healthy diet.
• Try to stay active and exercise regularly.
• Take ample rest. Get enough sleep.
• Meditate regularly as it helps in easing anxiety.
• Avoid smoking, caffeine, and alcohol consumption.
• Foods and drinks like salmon, chamomile, turmeric, dark chocolate, green tea, and yoghurt may help with anxiety.

Do not take Ecit-Plus Tablet if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Tell your doctor if you are taking antidepressants, antipsychotic medication, antihypertensives, or antibiotics. Talk to your doctor if you have a history of seizures, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia. Patients with liver diseases, diabetes, heart disease, and bleeding disorders should use Ecit-Plus Tablet with caution. Please do not stop taking Ecit-Plus Tablet abruptly as it can cause withdrawal symptoms. Ecit-Plus Tablet may cause suicidal thoughts and worsen anxiety.
