Emeset 2 mg Juicy Lemon Flavour Syrup is used in the treatment of pediatric gastroenteritis in infants and children aged 6 months to 12 years. It is also used in the prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with moderately emetogenic cancer chemotherapy in children aged six months and above. Nausea is an uneasy feeling in which a person feels an urge to vomit.
Emeset 2 mg Juicy Lemon Flavour Syrup contains ondansetron, which works by blocking the action of a chemical in the body (serotonin) responsible for causing nausea and vomiting.
