Emprogest EV 200 Tablet is used to treat female infertility and to aid pregnancy. Female infertility is a condition in which a female body is unable to conceive despite regular, unprotected sexual intercourse for at least one year.

Emprogest EV 200 Tablet contains progesterone, a female hormone that regulates ovulation and menstruation in women. 

In some cases, Emprogest EV 200 Tablet may cause abdominal pain, headache, constipation, nausea, and breast pain/enlargement. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Use Emprogest EV 200 Tablet as directed by your doctor. It is intended for intra-vaginal use only. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before and after each use. Ensure the vaginal area is clean and dry before applying the medicament.

• Luteal Phase Support: Emprogest EV 200 Tablet is prescribed to support the luteal phase during assisted reproductive technologies like in vitro fertilisation (IVF), increasing the chances of pregnancy.
• Menstrual Disorders: Emprogest EV 200 Tablet helps regulate the menstrual cycle and manage symptoms related to irregular menstruation.
• Endometrial Preparation: Emprogest EV 200 Tablet aids in preparing the endometrium for implantation during fertility treatments, ensuring an optimal environment for a fertilised egg.
• Prevention of Miscarriage: In some cases, Emprogest EV 200 Tablet is recommended for pregnant women with a history of recurrent miscarriages to help maintain the pregnancy and provide support during its early stages.

• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.

• Gently insert the applicator into the vagina while lying down or standing with one leg raised. Push the plunger to release the medication.
