EQUIRAB INJECTION 5ML is used for the following purposes:

• Rabies post-exposure prevention: After a bite, scratch, or lick from a potentially rabid animal, EQUIRAB INJECTION 5ML provides immediate, temporary antibodies to neutralise the virus at the wound site before the rabies vaccine can stimulate your own immune response.
• Immediate passive immunisation: For individuals who have never been immunised against rabies and have been exposed to the virus, EQUIRAB INJECTION 5ML delivers rapid defence during the critical window before active immunity develops.

EQUIRAB INJECTION 5ML provides immediate passive protection against rabies after potential exposure. When used together with the rabies vaccine, it helps prevent the virus from spreading while your body develops its own immune response. Its benefits include:
