About Etojet-XP Gel

Etojet-XP Gel is used to treat pain and inflammation in conditions like spondylitis, osteoarthritis, acute migraine, and rheumatoid arthritis. Arthritis is a condition which causes pain and stiffness in the joints. Acute Migraine is a severe headache with intense pain, nausea, and sensitivity to light/sound, sometimes preceded by aura symptoms like flashing lights.

Etojet-XP Gel contains Etoricoxib, Linseed oil, Menthol, and Methyl salicylate. Etoricoxib blocks certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation. Linseed oil helps reduce swelling, improve blood circulation, and enhance the absorption of etoricoxib through the skin. Menthol cools the skin, while methyl salicylate provides a warming effect, boosting blood circulation and relieving pain. Together, they provide effective pain relief.

You are advised to use Etojet-XP Gel for as long as your doctor prescribes it, depending on your medical condition. Sometimes, you may experience common side effects, such as application site reactions like itching, irritation, redness, and a burning sensation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen.

Do not use Etojet-XP Gel if you are allergic to its ingredients. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not take any other NSAIDs for pain relief along with Etojet-XP Gel unless prescribed. Avoid using Etojet-XP Gel on damaged, wounded or open skin. Inform your doctor if you are taking other medications, especially topical ones, and have pre-existing medical conditions to rule out potential interactions.
