Fenlong-MR Liniment 30 ml is a combination medicine used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, strain, sprain, arthritis, and low back pain. Musculoskeletal pain could occur due to arthritis, osteoporosis, fractures, dislocations, problems with the bone structure or injury to the bones, joints, tendons, muscles, and ligaments. Arthritis is a joint disease in which the two ends of the joints come together due to the breakdown of a protective covering called cartilage.
 
Fenlong-MR Liniment 30 ml contains Diclofenac diethylamine, Capsaicin, Mephenesin, Camphor, and Menthol. Diclofenac diethylamine blocks chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Mephenesin relieves muscle spasms/stiffness by acting on the centres of the brain and spinal cord. Capsaicin exerts an analgesic effect by blocking the pain messengers to the nerves. Camphor and Menthol provide a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels, followed by an analgesic effect. It also enhances the penetration of drugs. Together, Fenlong-MR Liniment 30 ml helps in providing relief from pain.
 
You are advised to use Fenlong-MR Liniment 30 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, Fenlong-MR Liniment 30 ml may cause common side-effects such as application site reactions like itching, irritation, redness, and burning sensation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
 
Fenlong-MR Liniment 30 ml is for external use only. Avoid contact of Fenlong-MR Liniment 30 ml with eyes, nose and mucous membrane; if contact occurs, wash with water immediately. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Fenlong-MR Liniment 30 ml is not recommended for children as safety and efficacy have not been established. Avoid or limit exposure to natural or artificial sunlight as Fenlong-MR Liniment 30 ml may cause ultraviolet light-induced skin tumours.

Mephenesin relieves muscle spasms/stiffness by acting on the centres of the brain and spinal cord. Capsaicin exerts an analgesic effect by blocking the pain messengers to the nerves. Camphor and Menthol provide a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels, followed by an analgesic effect. It also enhances the penetration of drugs. Together, Fenlong-MR Liniment 30 ml helps in providing relief from pain and inflammation.

Do not take Fenlong-MR Liniment 30 ml if you are allergic to any of its contents; if you have/had severe heart problems, stomach ulcer or perforation, and bleeding problems such as bleeding from the stomach, intestine or brain, bypass surgery, heart attack, blood circulation problems, or inflammation of intestines. Do not use Fenlong-MR Liniment 30 ml if you experience asthma, urticaria or allergy after taking NSAIDs. Inform your doctor if you are taking any NSAID/pain killers orally. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Fenlong-MR Liniment 30 ml is not recommended for children as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Stop taking Fenlong-MR Liniment 30 ml and consult your doctor immediately if you have stomach pain or any signs of bleeding in the intestine or stomach, such as blood in stools.

• De-stress yourself by meditating, reading books, taking a warm bubble bath or listening to soothing music.
• Acupuncture, massage and physical therapy may also be helpful.
• Eat food rich in antioxidants such as berries, spinach, kidney beans, dark chocolate, etc.
• Foods containing flavonoids help in reducing inflammation. These include soy, berries, broccoli, grapes and green tea.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.

If Fenlong-MR Liniment 30 ml comes in contact with eyes, nose or mouth, rinse with water immediately.
