Fentivite Softgel Vaginal Capsule is used to treat a broad range of infections caused by fungi and yeast. It is used to treat various fungal or yeast infections, such as vulvovaginal candidiasis. Vulvovaginal candidiasis is a fungal infection of the vagina and tissues at the opening of the vagina vulva. Symptoms may include irritation, discharge and intense itchiness of the vagina and the vulva tissues at the vaginal opening.

Fentivite Softgel Vaginal Capsule contains Fenticonazole, an antifungal that kills fungi by causing holes in their cell membranes. Thus, Fentivite Softgel Vaginal Capsule can inhibit fungal growth and reduce infection. It is active against a range of organisms, including dermatophyte pathogens, Malassezia furfur, and Candida albicans.

Fentivite Softgel Vaginal Capsule should be used as advised by your doctor has advised. It should be taken at the dose recommended by your doctor. Fentivite Softgel Vaginal Capsule may cause common side effects like application site reactions such as burning, irritation, itching, and redness. The side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, if these side effects persist, please consult your doctor immediately.

Fentivite Softgel Vaginal Capsule is used in the treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis (vaginal fungal infections). The detailed uses of Fentivite Softgel Vaginal Capsule are as follows:

• Treating vaginal fungal infections: Fentivite Softgel Vaginal Capsule effectively treats fungal infections caused by candida species, such as vaginal candidiasis, through its potent fungicidal and fungistatic actions, helping to eliminate the infection.
• Relieving symptoms: Fentivite Softgel Vaginal Capsule helps to alleviate symptoms like itching, burning, inflammation and discharge associated with vaginal fungal infections.

• Fentivite Softgel Vaginal Capsule is for vaginal use only.
• It is usually taken once daily for 3 days before bedtime or as advised by a doctor.
• Check the label for directions before using this medicine.
• Wash and dry your vaginal area. Lie down with your knees bent and legs apart. Gently insert Fentivite Softgel Vaginal Capsule as far into the vagina as is comfortable.
• Wash your hands with warm water and soap after using Fentivite Softgel Vaginal Capsule.

Therefore, Fentivite Softgel Vaginal Capsule may be an ideal first-line monotherapy for vulvovaginal infection.

If you are known to be allergic to Fentivite Softgel Vaginal Capsule or any other medicines, please tell your doctor.  Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Fentivite Softgel Vaginal Capsule. Do not start treatment with Fentivite Softgel Vaginal Capsule during menstruation as the Fentivite Softgel Vaginal Capsule will be washed off with blood flow. The treatment should be finished before the onset of menstruation. Do not use tampons, vaginal douches, spermicide or other vaginal products while using Fentivite Softgel Vaginal Capsule. This medicine may damage the latex of condoms and diaphragms; hence these types of contraception are also not effective during treatment with Fentivite Softgel Vaginal Capsule. Hence, alternative methods of contraception or abstinence from sexual intercourse are recommended.
