Fibrotez-200 Tablet 15's is used to slow the progression of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in adults. Its main use includes:

• Helps preserve lung function: Slows the decline in how well the lungs work, which may help maintain breathing capacity for longer.
• Supports long-term management of IPF: Regular treatment may help slow disease progression when taken consistently as prescribed.
• May reduce the risk of sudden worsening: Treatment may help lower the risk of acute exacerbations (sudden episodes of worsening symptoms) in some people with IPF.

• Fibrotez-200 Tablet 15's should be taken with food, or as advised by the doctor.
• It is usually taken three times a day or as directed by the doctor.
• Swallow Fibrotez-200 Tablet 15's as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not chew, crush, or break it.

• Quit all smoking and tobacco use: Tobacco smoke drastically reduces the amount of Fibrotez-200 Tablet 15's in your body, making the drug much less effective. Speak to your doctor if you need resources to help you quit.
• Practise strict sun protection: This medication increases your skin's sensitivity to ultraviolet (UV) light. Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 50 or higher, wear tightly woven long-sleeved clothing, wide-brimmed hats, and sunglasses when outdoors, and avoid tanning beds entirely.
• Eat smaller, frequent meals: If you experience nausea or a loss of appetite, eating five or six small meals throughout the day rather than three large ones can keep your stomach settled.
• Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day, especially if you experience mild diarrhoea, to keep your body properly hydrated.

• Keep all blood test appointments: Your doctor will order regular blood tests to check your liver function before you start Fibrotez-200 Tablet 15's, and monthly for the first several months to monitor for potential liver damage.
• Always take with food: Never take this medication on an empty stomach, as food is crucial for preventing severe nausea and stomach pain.
• Monitor your skin daily: Check your skin regularly for any new rashes, redness, or blisters, especially after you have been outdoors.
• Inform all healthcare providers: Always tell any doctor, dentist, or pharmacist you visit that you are taking Fibrotez-200 Tablet 15's before you begin any new prescription, over-the-counter medicine, or herbal supplement.
