COPD is a group of lung diseases with emphysema (shortness of breath) and chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the lining of bronchial tubes).

Formonide Forte Respicaps contains budesonide (corticosteroid) and formoterol fumarate (bronchodilator). Budesonide prevents the release of certain chemicals responsible for causing inflammatory reactions. Formoterol fumarate relaxes and widens the respiratory airway muscles, making it easier to breathe. Together, Formonide Forte Respicaps helps treat asthma and COPD.
