Francip CF Cream is a topical prescription medicine used to treat certain skin conditions involving bacterial or fungal infection, together with inflammation. It contains ciprofloxacin, which acts against susceptible bacteria; clotrimazole, which treats fungal infections; and fluocinolone acetonide, which helps reduce redness, swelling, and itching.
By targeting infection and inflammation at the same time, Francip CF Cream may help relieve symptoms such as redness, itching, swelling, and discomfort while treating susceptible bacteria and fungi affecting the skin.
Apply Francip CF Cream exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Use a thin layer on the affected area and follow the recommended frequency and duration of treatment. This medicine is for external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and other sensitive areas, and do not cover the treated area with airtight dressings unless advised by your doctor.
Some people may experience temporary burning, stinging, itching, or redness at the application site. Contact your doctor if irritation persists or worsens, or if you develop signs of an allergic reaction. Tell your doctor before use if you have a viral skin infection, such as herpes or shingles, or tuberculosis affecting the skin, as the corticosteroid component may worsen certain untreated infections.
If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using Francip CF Cream. Use in children should be guided by a doctor, as children may absorb proportionally larger amounts of topical corticosteroids through the skin and may require closer monitoring.
