About Franklor-CS Syrup
Franklor-CS Syrup is primarily used to treat cough caused by throat irritation, sneezing, and a runny nose in children. Coughing (dry or productive) is the body’s way of clearing irritants (such as allergens, mucus, or smoke) from the airways and preventing infection.
Franklor-CS Syrup contains chlorphenamine maleate and dextromethorphan. Chlorphenamine maleate blocks histamine receptors to reduce allergy symptoms. Dextromethorphan hydrobromide prevents cough by blocking signals from the brain’s cough centre. Together, Franklor-CS Syrup helps relieve coughs, colds, and allergy symptoms.
