About Fumiget 3gm Injection
Fumiget 3gm Injection is an antibiotic medicine used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used in treating mild to moderate infections of the nose, ears, skin, throat, urinary tract, and lungs (such as pneumonia and bronchitis (infection in the airway tubes)) caused by bacteria. A bacterial infection occurs when harmful bacteria grow in the body. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. Fumiget 3gm Injection is only effective in treating infections caused by bacteria and is not effective for viral infections like the flu or a common cold.
Fumiget 3gm Injection contains Cefpirome and Sulbactam. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) that is necessary for their survival.
Fumiget 3gm Injection may cause certain side effects, such as indigestion, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, headache, pain at the injection site, and stomach pain. If these side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. A trained healthcare professional will administer it. Hence, do not self-administer.

Key Benefits
Fumiget 3gm Injection contains Cefpirome (a cephalosporin antibiotic) and Sulbactam (beta-lactamase inhibitor). Cefpirome is a broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic that acts against both aerobic (grow in the presence of oxygen) and anaerobic (grow in the absence of oxygen) bacteria. Sulbactam inhibits the action of beta-lactamase. Beta-lactamase is an enzyme bacteria produce that can destroy antibiotics (cefotaxime). Fumiget 3gm Injection works by inhibiting the synthesis of the necessary bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) for their survival. This causes damage to the bacterial cell wall and eventually leads to the death of the bacterial cell. Thus, it prevents the growth of bacterial infections.
