Genorox CV 500 Tablet is used to treat various bacterial infections in children, such as throat infections (pharyngitis, tonsillitis), Pneumonia, Bronchitis, urinary tract infections, skin, soft tissue infections, ear infections, etc. It contains Cefuroxime and Clavulanic acid, which prevent bacterial cell covering formation, which is necessary for their survival. Genorox CV 500 Tablet belongs to the class of antibiotic medications primarily used to treat various bacterial infections in children, such as throat infections (pharyngitis, tonsillitis), Pneumonia, Bronchitis, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and ear infections.

Genorox CV 500 Tablet combines two antibiotics: Cefuroxime (a cephalosporin antibiotic) and Clavulanic acid (a beta-lactamase inhibitor). Cefuroxime kills bacteria by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering, which is necessary for their survival. Clavulanic acid decreases bacterial resistance and enhances the activity of cefuroxime against the bacteria. Together, Genorox CV 500 Tablet helps to treat bacterial infections.

Genorox CV 500 Tablet is for paediatric use only. Give Genorox CV 500 Tablet to children as advised by the doctor. Genorox CV 500 Tablet may cause some common side effects such as abdominal pain or discomfort, diarrhoea, nausea, and vomiting.
