About Glencoff-DX Syrup
Glencoff-DX Syrup is used to treat coughs associated with a runny nose, sneezing, and throat irritation. Coughing (dry or productive) is the body's way of clearing irritants (like allergens, mucus or smoke) from airways and preventing infection.
Glencoff-DX Syrup is a combination of two drugs: Chlorphenamine maleate and Dextromethorphan hydrobromide. Chlorphenamine maleate blocks the effects of histamine, reducing allergy symptoms. Dextromethorphan hydrobromide prevents cough by blocking signals from the brain’s cough centre.
