About Glyzee PM1
Glyzee PM1 belongs to a class of medicines called anti-diabetic drugs used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes, especially in patients whose blood sugar levels are not controlled by diet and exercise alone. Type 2 diabetes is a chronic (long-lasting) condition that affects the way our body processes glucose.
Glyzee PM1 contains Glimepiride, Metformin, and Pioglitazone. Glimepiride lowers blood sugar by causing the pancreas to produce insulin. Metformin reduces the production of sugar in the liver and delays sugar absorption from the intestines. Pioglitazone increases the body's sensitivity to insulin. Thereby, Glyzee PM1 helps to control blood sugar levels.
In some cases, you may experience stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, headache, a metallic taste, or low blood sugar. Most of these side effects of Glyzee PM1 do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Glyzee PM1 or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Glyzee PM1 is not recommended for children. Consult your doctor if you are breastfeeding, pregnant or planning for pregnancy. Avoid alcohol consumption with Glyzee PM1 as it may increase the risk of lactic acidosis (accumulation of lactic acid in the body).

In type 1 diabetes, the body does not produce insulin as the islet cells (insulin-producing cells) in the pancreas are completely destroyed. In type 2 diabetes, though islet cells are working, the body does not respond to insulin as the body becomes resistant to it.
You are not recommended to stop taking Glyzee PM1 on your own, as discontinuing Glyzee PM1 suddenly may cause recurring symptoms or worsen the condition. However, if you experience any difficulty while taking Glyzee PM1, please consult your doctor so that alternative medicine may be prescribed.
