Can Granry-AM Tablet be used as a substitute for telmisartan 40 mg and cilnidipine 20 mg?
Dr. S Aneela
M. Pharm (Pharmacology)., PhD
Granry-AM Tablet cannot be used as a substitute for telmisartan 40 mg and cilnidipine 20 mg, as it contains three different ingredients, namely amlodipine, chlorthalidone, and irbesartan. Although it is also used to treat high blood pressure, the combination works in a different way. Switching to this medicine should only be done if your doctor advises it. Your doctor will assess your blood pressure control, medical history, kidney function, and risk of side effects before making any change.
