Grilinctus-L Oral Suspension 100 ml contains levocloperastine hydrochloride, a cough suppressant. It works by blocking the cough receptor present in the brain, which is known to cause cough. Grilinctus-L Oral Suspension 100 ml is generally prescribed for short-term treatment of dry cough. It does not treat chronic cough or cough caused due to smoking, emphysema and asthma.

The doctor will decide the dose and duration of Grilinctus-L Oral Suspension 100 ml depending on your condition. The most common side effects of Grilinctus-L Oral Suspension 100 ml are nausea, drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, fatigue, and headache. Drug-Drug Interactions: Grilinctus-L Oral Suspension 100 ml may interact with medicines used to treat depression (e.g. citalopram) and CNS stimulant medications (e.g. amphetamine). 

Drug-Food Interactions: Avoid alcohol intake with Grilinctus-L Oral Suspension 100 ml as it may cause increased drowsiness, and dizziness.

Drug-Disease Interactions: If you have hypertension, heart disease, seizures, diabetes, or hyperthyroidism, inform your doctor before taking Grilinctus-L Oral Suspension 100 ml.
