About GTN Spray

GTN Spray is primarily indicated in preventing attacks of angina (chest pain) and treating angina due to coronary artery disease. Angina occurs when the heart does not receive sufficient oxygen.

GTN Spray contains Glyceryl Trinitrate, which works by relaxing blood vessels and reducing the heart's oxygen demand.

GTN Spray may cause common side effects such as dry mouth, blurred vision, headache, dizziness, weakness, nausea and vomiting, sweating, paleness, fainting, and flushing (warm or red skin). Most of these side effects are temporary and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

You should not take GTN Spray if you are allergic to nitrates or any of its ingredients or are taking medication for hypertension, glaucoma, heart disease, erectile dysfunction, or anemia. Check with your doctor if you're pregnant, currently breastfeeding or taking any other prescribed or non-prescribed medicines.

How GTN Spray Works

What if I have taken an overdose of GTN Spray

Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of GTN Spray may include headaches, a fast heartbeat or feeling dizzy, and severe hypotension. Seek immediate medical attention if you observe any symptoms or think you have taken too much. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.
