Gudbeta R 50/5 Tablet is primarily used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Hypertension is a medical condition in which the blood exerts high pressure (the force exerted by circulating blood) against the walls of blood vessels.

Gudbeta R 50/5 Tablet is composed of metoprolol and ramipril. Metoprolol helps in slowing down the heart rate, making it easier for the heart to pump blood throughout the body. Ramipril relaxes and widens the blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood to all parts of the body.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects like tiredness, dizziness, shortness of breath, bradycardia, hypotension, diarrhoea, headache, and rash. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. Talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

You can take Gudbeta R 50/5 Tablet with food or without food. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, bite, or break it. Your doctor will advise you on how often you should take Gudbeta R 50/5 Tablet , based on your medical condition. 

Avoid taking Gudbeta R 50/5 Tablet if you are allergic to it or any other. Try not to stop taking this medicine on your own, even if your blood pressure is normal, as it may worsen your condition. Let your doctor know if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems, are pregnant or breastfeeding.

• Treatment of Hypertension: Gudbeta R 50/5 Tablet controls hypertension by relaxing blood vessels and lowering blood pressure, making it easier for the heart to pump blood.&
• Prevention of Cardiovascular Risk: Gudbeta R 50/5 Tablet protects against heart attacks, strokes, heart failure, and other cardiovascular complications by lowering blood pressure and reducing heart strain.
• Kidney Protection: Gudbeta R 50/5 Tablet reduces the risk or delays the worsening of kidney problems by lowering blood pressure and slowing kidney disease progression.

• Take Gudbeta R 50/5 Tablet with or without food as advised by the doctor.

• Try not to stop taking this medicine on your own even if your blood pressure is normal as it may worsen your condition. 
• Do not take Gudbeta R 50/5 Tablet if you are hypersensitive to metoprolol, ramipril, any beta-blocker, any other ACE inhibitor, or any of the excipients of Gudbeta R 50/5 Tablet .
• Inform your doctor if you have angioedema (swelling under the skin),  diabetes, moderate to severe renal impairment, diabetic nephropathy, severe bradycardia, second- or third-degree heart block, cardiogenic shock, cardiac failure, sick sinus syndrome, or liver problems.
• Gudbeta R 50/5 Tablet is not advised to be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Gudbeta R 50/5 Tablet is not recommended for children because its safety and efficacy have not been proven.
• Gudbeta R 50/5 Tablet may cause dizziness, so drive carefully.
