About Haem UP Fast Tablet

Haem UP Fast Tablet belongs to a class of medications called haematinics, primarily used to treat anaemia (deficiency of iron and haemoglobin). Iron deficiency occurs mainly due to a poor diet or poor dietary absorption.

Haem UP Fast Tablet contains Elemental Iron and Folic acid. Elemental iron helps with the transportation of oxygen throughout the body and the production of red blood cells. Folic acid helps boost the production of red blood cells (RBCs) in the body. Together, Haem UP Fast Tablet helps treat anaemia.

Haem UP Fast Tablet may cause side effects like constipation, dry mouth, loss of appetite, bloating, and diarrhoea in some cases. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and typically resolve on their own over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

What if I have taken an overdose of Haem UP Fast Tablet

Do not take more than the recommended dose of Haem UP Fast Tablet as it may cause overdose. The symptoms of overdose include vomiting, severe stomach pain, shallow breathing, bloody diarrhea, coughing up blood or vomit that looks like coffee grounds, weak and rapid pulse, blue lips, pale skin, and seizures (fits). If you suspect you have taken overdose or notice signs of overdose, please consult a doctor immediately.

However, if you experience diarrhoea, paleness of skin, severe nausea and vomiting, over-tiredness, dizziness, fainting, blood in the stools, unusual bleeding or bruising, fever, chills, body pains, flu-like symptoms, skin reactions, mouth ulcers or sores, and/or numbness, burning or tingling in your hands and feet, contact your doctor.
