About HAPYMET 25MG ER TABLET 10'S

HAPYMET 25MG ER TABLET 10'S belongs to a group of medicines called beta-blockers used alone or together with other medicines to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), heart-related chest pain (angina), and lower the risk of death associated with heart failure. Hypertension or high blood pressure is a long-term force of the blood against the arteries that may lead to various heart diseases. It can damage the blood vessels (arteries) of the brain, heart, and kidneys if it continues for a long time, resulting in a stroke, heart failure, or kidney failure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of stroke, heart attack, and heart-related chest pain (angina).

HAPYMET 25MG ER TABLET 10'S plays a vital role in relaxing our blood vessels by blocking the action of certain natural substances in your body. It helps in slowing down the heart rate, making it easier to pump more blood around your body. This lowers your blood pressure and reduces your risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, other heart problems, or kidney problems in the future. This medicine needs to be taken regularly to be effective.

HAPYMET 25MG ER TABLET 10'S can be taken orally with or without food or as directed by your physician. HAPYMET 25MG ER TABLET 10'S is preferable to take at the same time every day for better results. You may have common side effects like dizziness, tired feeling, nightmares, trouble sleeping, depression, confusion, memory problems. These side effects are usually mild and short-lived. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Don't stop taking HAPYMET 25MG ER TABLET 10'S without talking to your doctor first. Stopping HAPYMET 25MG ER TABLET 10'S abruptly may cause changes in your heart rhythm and blood pressure, cause chest pain or a heart attack. Your doctor will lower your dose gradually over a period of time to help prevent these symptoms. You should not use HAPYMET 25MG ER TABLET 10'S if you have a very slow heartbeat, serious heart condition (sick sinus syndrome), or any heart blockage.
