About Hepcinat-Lp Tablet 28'S

Hepcinat-Lp Tablet 28'S belongs to a class of drugs called antivirals. It is used to treat chronic (long-term) hepatitis C virus infection in adults and children three years of age and older. Hepatitis C virus infection is a severe liver infection caused by the hepatitis C virus (HCV). It is contagious (spreads from one person to another) and spreads through contact with the infected person’s blood.

Hepcinat-Lp Tablet 28'S contains the active ingredients ledipasvir and sofosbuvir. Ledipasvir and Sofosbuvir work together to prevent the virus from growing and reproducing. Thus, the infection can be completely eliminated from the body.

Hepcinat-Lp Tablet 28'S should be taken as prescribed by the doctor. In some cases, Hepcinat-Lp Tablet 28'S may cause common side effects such as headache, tiredness, rash, dizziness, muscle pain, irritability, diarrhea, and angioedema (swelling). Most of these side effects of Hepcinat-Lp Tablet 28'S do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to ledipasvir, sofosbuvir, or any of the other ingredients in this medication, do not take it. Hepcinat-Lp Tablet 28'S used to treat chronic (long-term) hepatitis C virus infection in adults and children 3 years of age and older. Hepcinat-Lp Tablet 28'S contains the active ingredients ledipasvir and sofosbuvir. Ledipasvir and Sofosbuvir work together to prevent the virus from growing and reproducing. Thus, the infection can be completely eliminated from the body.

Directions for Use

Take Hepcinat-Lp Tablet 28'S as directed by your doctor. Swallow the pill whole with water; do not crush, break, or chew it.

Drug Warnings

Please tell your doctor if you are allergic to Sofosbuvir or other medicines. Additional monitoring is required if you are currently taking antibiotics (rifampicin and rifabutin); herbal medicine used to treat depression (St. John’s wort); drugs used to treat epilepsy and prevent seizures (carbamazepine and phenobarbital); a medication used to treat high cholesterol (rosuvastatin), medicine to treat irregular heartbeats (amiodarone), so inform your doctor before taking Hepcinat-Lp Tablet 28'S. Avoid pregnancy during treatment with Hepcinat-Lp Tablet 28'S as it may harm the unborn baby when used in combination with ribavirin. You or your partner must use an effective birth control method during and after this treatment. However, contact your doctor immediately if you become pregnant during therapy or in the months following your treatment with Hepcinat-Lp Tablet 28'S. You are advised to take proper precautions if you are infected with the hepatitis C virus infection to prevent the spread of infection to others.

Drug Interactions

Drug-Drug Interactions: Hepcinat-Lp Tablet 28'S may interact with antibiotics (e.g. rifampicin, rifabutin), herbal medicine used to treat depression (St. John’s wort), drugs used to treat epilepsy and prevent seizures (e.g. carbamazepine, phenobarbital), a medicine used to treat high cholesterol (e.g. rosuvastatin), and the medicine to treat irregular heartbeats (e.g. amiodarone).

Drug-Food Interactions: Avoid the consumption of alcohol.

Hepatitis C: It is a severe liver infection caused by the hepatitis C virus (HCV). It is contagious (spreads from one person to another) and spreads through contact with the infected person’s blood, sharing needles, using a razor or any other personal items or even transfer from mother to baby during birth. The symptoms may not appear immediately. Some may take between 2 to 12 weeks to appear. Few people may have mild to moderate symptoms such as dark urine, loss of appetite, fever, joint pain, or stomach discomfort. Pregnancy

Caution
