Igcon-Forte 300/12 Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat fungal infections and parasitic infections caused by certain parasites, such as head lice, scabies, and certain types of worms. Igcon-Forte 300/12 Tablet works by inhibiting fungal growth and multiplication and paralyzing and killing parasites.
Igcon-Forte 300/12 Tablet combines Fluconazole (antifungal) and Ivermectin (anthelmintics). Fluconazole kills fungi by causing holes in their cell membranes, allowing the contents to flow out. This treats the infection and allows your symptoms to subside. Ivermectin paralyzes and destroys the parasite or prevents adult parasites from creating larvae for a while. Thus, it effectively treats parasitic infections.
Take Igcon-Forte 300/12 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Igcon-Forte 300/12 Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition.
