• Respiratory Tract Infections: Iltauf L 75mg/10mg Capsule SR is effective against infections of the throat (pharyngitis), tonsils (tonsilitis), airways (bronchitis), and lungs (pneumonia) caused by susceptible bacteria.
• Urinary Tract Infections: Iltauf L 75mg/10mg Capsule SR helps treat bacterial infections affecting the bladder (cystitis), ureter (ureteritis), and kidneys (pyelonephritis).
• Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: Iltauf L 75mg/10mg Capsule SR is used to treat bacterial infections of the skin and underlying tissues, such as wounds, abscesses, boils, cellulitis, and impetigo.
• Ear Infections: Iltauf L 75mg/10mg Capsule SR is used to treat bacterial infections in the middle ear (otitis media).
• Bone Infections: Iltauf L 75mg/10mg Capsule SR is sometimes prescribed for bone infections (osteomyelitis) caused by susceptible bacteria.

Iltauf L 75mg/10mg Capsule SR is a combination of two medicines: Cefixime and  Moxifloxacin belong to the class of medications called ‘antibacterials’. Cefixime is a cephalosporin antibiotic that prevents the formation of the bacterial protective covering, which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Moxifloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that stops bacteria from making a copy of their genetic material (DNA), thereby killing and stopping bacterial infection growth. Thus, Iltauf L 75mg/10mg Capsule SR treats your infection effectively.

• Iltauf L 75mg/10mg Capsule SR is best taken before meals to improve absorption and reduce the chance of stomach discomfort.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Swallow Iltauf L 75mg/10mg Capsule SR as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, break, or chew it.

• Probiotics should be taken after taking the full course of Iltauf L 75mg/10mg Capsule SR to restore some of the healthy bacteria in the intestines that may have been killed. Iltauf L 75mg/10mg Capsule SR should be used with caution if you have diabetes, low potassium levels, epilepsy or hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar), heart diseases, kidney diseases and liver diseases. Iltauf L 75mg/10mg Capsule SR should be used with caution in clostridium difficile infection (inflammation of the colon caused by the bacteria clostridium difficile) and pseudomembranous colitis (swelling or inflammation of the large intestine). Avoid drinking alcohol as it can cause excessive drowsiness with this medicine. It usually does not impair your ability to drive, but you should not drive if it makes you feel sleepy or dizzy.
