Isolin Injection 1's belongs to a group of medicines called sympathomimetic stimulants used to treat heart failure, shock, and irregular heartbeats. Heart failure is a chronic condition in which the heart cannot pump blood as effectively as it should. An irregular heartbeat is a condition in which your heart beats irregularly, too fast, or too slow.

Isolin Injection 1's contains Isoprenaline which works by stimulating certain receptors in the heart that increases the force and strength at which the heart beats. Thus, it allows pumping the of blood effectively around the body in conditions such as heart failure.

Isolin Injection 1's will be administered by a healthcare professional; do not self-administer. In some cases, you may experience headache, dizziness, restlessness, sweating, palpitations (the sensation that the heart is racing), tremors, or flushing (warmth and reddening of the face, and neck). Most of these side effects of Isolin Injection 1's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, please consult your doctor.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Isolin Injection 1's may interact with medicine used to treat glaucoma (timolol), medicine used to treat Parkinson’s disease (entacapone), high blood pressure-lowering medicines (metoprolol), corticosteroid (fluticasone).

Drug- Food Interaction: Isolin Injection 1's may interact with caffeine. Therefore, avoid excessive intake of caffeine-containing foods such as tea, chocolate or colas with Isolin Injection 1's as they may increase the risk of severity of side effects.

Drug-Disease Interaction: If you have fast heartbeat, diabetes, thyroid, angina (chest pain) or heart block due to excessive digoxin in the body, please inform your doctor before taking Isolin Injection 1's.

• Follow a low-fat, high-fiber diet.
• Maintain a balanced diet. Include plenty of vegetables, fruits, and whole grains.
• Limit daily salt content to not more than 6grams.

• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
