Janatil-MD Tablet 10's

Janatil-MD Tablet 10's is used to treat nausea and vomiting during a migraine, schizophrenia, mania, anxiety in the short term, and vertigo (dizziness) due to ear problems such as Meniere’s syndrome. Nausea and vomiting are not diseases but are symptoms of many conditions like infections, motion sickness, an early stage of pregnancy, and gastroparesis (slow stomach emptying). Schizophrenia is a mental disorder that affects a person's ability to feel, think and behave clearly. Mania is a mental condition that causes intense excitement, high energy, and delusions (misbeliefs). Anxiety is a mental health disorder associated with fear, worry, and excessive nervousness. 

Janatil-MD Tablet 10's contains Prochlorperazine, which works by inhibiting a natural chemical in the brain (dopamine) that stimulates the vomiting centre (chemoreceptor trigger zone – CTZ), thereby preventing nausea and vomiting. Besides this, Janatil-MD Tablet 10's also controls psychotic symptoms in Schizophrenia and has a calming effect on people suffering from anxiety or mania. 

Take Janatil-MD Tablet 10's as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Janatil-MD Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. Some people may experience dry mouth, drowsiness, headache, dizziness, stuffy nose, irritability, missed menstrual periods, impotence (difficulty maintaining an erection), anxiety, skin rash, skin redness, itching, or swelling.  Most of these side effects of Janatil-MD Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Do not take Janatil-MD Tablet 10's if you are known to be allergic to Janatil-MD Tablet 10's. Janatil-MD Tablet 10's should be used with caution in elderly patients above 65 years, as there is an increased risk of adverse effects. Do not take Janatil-MD Tablet 10's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, as it may cause adverse effects on the baby. Janatil-MD Tablet 10's is not recommended for children below 1 year of age. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight while taking Janatil-MD Tablet 10's as it may cause the skin to be more sensitive to sunlight. If you have fits, depression, diabetes, pheochromocytoma (tumour on the adrenal gland), enlarged prostate gland, Parkinson’s disease, dementia (impairment in memory and thinking), myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness), glaucoma,  kidney, liver, heart or thyroid problems, inform your doctor before taking Janatil-MD Tablet 10's.

Janatil-MD Tablet 10's used in the treatment of nausea and vomiting in migraine, schizophrenia, and anxiety disorders. The detailed uses of Janatil-MD Tablet 10's are as follows:

• Controls nausea and vomiting: Janatil-MD Tablet 10's helps to manage nausea and vomiting, especially those linked with migraines or certain medical treatments.
• Treats Schizophrenia: Janatil-MD Tablet 10's is used to manage symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, and disorganized thinking in individuals with schizophrenia.
• Manages Anxiety disorders: Janatil-MD Tablet 10's may also help to relieve severe anxiety symptoms by calming excessive brain activity and reducing agitation.
• Relieves Vertigo symptoms: Janatil-MD Tablet 10's provides symptomatic relief from vertigo caused by Ménière's disease, labyrinthitis, and other inner ear or neurological conditions.

• Tablet: Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew or break it. Avoid contact of Janatil-MD Tablet 10's with your skin for a very long time as it may cause swelling, skin redness, and itching (contact skin sensitization).
• Tablet MD: Place the mouth-dissolving tablet in the mouth and allow it to dissolve. Do not swallow. Avoid handling the tablets with wet hands.
• Syrup: Shake the bottle well before use. Take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper provided by the pack.
