About Jubiglim M3 Tablet

Jubiglim M3 Tablet belongs to a class of medicines called anti-diabetic drugs used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes, especially in patients whose blood sugar levels are not controlled by diet and exercise alone.

Jubiglim M3 Tablet contains Glimepiride and Metformin. Glimepiride helps the pancreas release more insulin, thereby lowering blood sugar levels. Metformin reduces the amount of sugar produced by the liver, slows down sugar absorption from food, and helps the body use insulin more effectively.

In some cases, Jubiglim M3 Tablet may cause side effects like stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, headache or metallic taste. Most of these side effects of Jubiglim M3 Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Do not take Jubiglim M3 Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Jubiglim M3 Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy, breastfeeding and in children. Avoid alcohol consumption with Jubiglim M3 Tablet as it may increase the risk of lactic acidosis (accumulation of lactic acid in the body).

What if I have taken an overdose of Jubiglim M3 Tablet

Take Jubiglim M3 Tablet only as prescribed by the physician. Avoid exceeding the recommended dose as it could lead to an overdose. Symptoms of overdose may include hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar) and lactic acidosis (buildup of lactic acid in the blood). If you experience these symptoms or suspect you have taken an overdose, seek immediate medical attention.

  • Do regular exercise such as cycling, walking, jogging, dancing, or swimming for a minimum of 30 minutes per day. Invest at least 150 minutes of your week in exercise.

What if you forget to take Jubiglim M3 Tablet

Include a diet rich in fruits, vegetables and whole grains like brown rice, whole wheat, oats, barley, and quinoa. Non-fat or low-fat dairy and proteins like chicken, lean meats, nuts, beans, tofu, lentils, eggs, fish, and turkey can also be included.
