K-Prior Tablet 30's is used to treat angina pectoris (heart-related chest pain) in adults who cannot take beta-blockers (blood pressure-lowering pills). Angina pectoris is a kind of chest pain due to decreased blood flow to the heart. It is a symptom of coronary artery disease.
K-Prior Tablet 30's contains Nicorandil, that opens potassium channels present on the muscle cells within the walls of blood vessels and relaxes these muscle cells and widens blood vessels.
Some people may experience headache, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, weakness, flushing (reddening of the skin) or very fast, forceful or uneven heartbeat. Most of these side effects of K-Prior Tablet 30's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, please consult your doctor.
Take K-Prior Tablet 30's as prescribed by your doctor with or without food. You are advised to take K-Prior Tablet 30's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. Do not chew, break, or crush the medicine.

You are not recommended to take more than the prescribed dose of K-Prior Tablet 30's as it may cause K-Prior Tablet 30's overdose resulting in symptoms such as weakness, dizziness (signs of low blood pressure), fast or irregular heartbeat. However, if you experience any of these symptoms while taking K-Prior Tablet 30's, please consult a doctor immediately.
