About Kcor 10 Tablet
Kcor 10 Tablet is used to treat angina pectoris (heart-related chest pain) in adults who cannot take beta-blockers (blood pressure-lowering pills). Angina pectoris is a kind of chest pain due to decreased blood flow to the heart. It is a symptom of coronary artery disease.
Kcor 10 Tablet contains Nicorandil, that opens potassium channels present on the muscle cells within the walls of blood vessels and relaxes these muscle cells and widens blood vessels.
Some people may experience headache, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, weakness, flushing (reddening of the skin) or very fast, forceful or uneven heartbeat. Most of these side effects of Kcor 10 Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, please consult your doctor.
Take Kcor 10 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor with or without food. You are advised to take Kcor 10 Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. Do not chew, break, or crush the medicine.

- Avoid taking Kcor 10 Tablet if you have hypotension (severe low blood pressure), low blood volume, pulmonary oedema (accumulation of fluid in the lungs) or any heart problems.
- Do not take Kcor 10 Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and consult a doctor.
- Kcor 10 Tablet is not recommended for children as the safety and effectiveness were not established.
- Avoid alcohol consumption with Kcor 10 Tablet as it may cause severely low blood pressure.
- Avoid taking vardenafil, sildenafil, tadalafil and riociguat with Kcor 10 Tablet as it may affect blood pressure. If you notice in blood in stools while taking Kcor 10 Tablet , inform your doctor immediately as it may be due to ulcers in the stomach, intestines or back passage.
