Ketorol-DT Tablet 15's belongs to a group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAID) indicated for the short-term management of moderate to severe acute postoperative pain. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, which causes uncomfortable sensations in the body.
Ketorol-DT Tablet 15's contains 'ketorolac tromethamine', which works by inhibiting the synthesis of certain chemical messengers in the body, such as prostaglandins which are responsible for causing pain and inflammation. Thereby, Ketorol-DT Tablet 15's helps provide relief from pain.
In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhoea, constipation, gas, and dizziness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
Avoid taking Ketorol-DT Tablet 15's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Ketorol-DT Tablet 15's should not be given to children below 16 years as safety and efficacy have not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol with Ketorol-DT Tablet 15's as it could lead to increased dizziness; it might also increase the risk of stomach bleeding. Drug Warnings
Do not take Ketorol-DT Tablet 15's if you are allergic to any of its contents; if you have/had asthma, severe heart problems, stomach ulcer or perforation, bleeding problems such as bleeding from the stomach, intestine or brain, bypass surgery, heart attack, blood circulation problems, or inflammation of intestines. Ketorol-DT Tablet 15's can increase your risk of a fatal heart attack or stroke. So, if you have had any recent heart surgery, do not take Ketorol-DT Tablet 15's. Inform your doctor if you have or had high blood pressure, heart problems, high cholesterol, diabetes, asthma, liver and kidney problems. Avoid taking Ketorol-DT Tablet 15's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Ketorol-DT Tablet 15's may cause dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Ketorol-DT Tablet 15's is not recommended for children below 16 years as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Stop taking Ketorol-DT Tablet 15's and consult your doctor immediately if you have stomach pain or any signs of bleeding in the intestine or stomach, such as blood in stools. Do not take any other NSAIDs for pain relief along with Ketorol-DT Tablet 15's unless prescribed.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Ketorol-DT Tablet 15's may have interaction with a blood thinner (warfarin, heparin), antipsychotic agent (lithium), pain killers (aspirin), uricosuric (probenecid), antiprogestational steroids (mifepristone).

Diet & Lifestyle Advise
- Exercising regularly helps in muscle stretching so that they are less likely to spasm, tear and sprain. Mild exercises such as jogging and walking are helpful for muscle stretching.
- Massages can also be helpful.
- Avoid freezing and hot temperatures.
- Avoid wearing tight-fitting clothes; instead, wear loose garments.
- Rest well, and get plenty of sleep.
- To avoid developing pressure sores, change your position every two hours.
- Hot or cold therapy can help treat muscle spasms. Apply an ice-pack or hot-pack on the muscle for 15-20minutes.
- Stay hydrated, drink plenty of water.
