Kratol Infusion

Kratol Infusion is a medication used to treat cerebral oedema (brain swelling). It is also used to prevent and treat the oliguric phase of acute renal failure before irreversible renal failure is established. Cerebral oedema is the medical term for brain swelling, or swelling that happens in part or all of the brain because of excessive fluid buildup in the tissue. Acute renal failure (also known as acute kidney injury) is a sudden loss of kidney function that occurs over a short period, usually within a few hours or days.

Kratol Infusion contains glycerine and mannitol as its active components, which work to reduce brain swelling by drawing out excess fluid, lowering brain pressure, and helping the brain function properly. Additionally, Kratol Infusion increases urine flow to remove excess fluid and support kidney function, helping to prevent long-term brain and kidney damage.

Kratol Infusion will be administered by a healthcare professional; do not self-administer. Common side effects of Kratol Infusion include injection site reactions, hypotension, difficulty breathing, skin rash, and hives. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, inform your doctor.
