Lafukem D 10 mg/30 mg Capsule belongs to a group of medicines called gastrointestinal agents used to treat gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and peptic ulcers. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) occurs when stomach acid frequently flows back into the food pipe (oesophagus). Peptic ulcers are sores that develop on the inner lining of the intestine and stomach.

Lafukem D 10 mg/30 mg Capsule is a combination of two drugs: Lafutidine (H2 receptor antagonist) and Domperidone (a dopamine antagonist). Lafutidine works by blocking histamine H2 receptors located on the stomach lining, thereby reduces gastric acid secretion. Domperidone works by increasing the movements and contractions of stomach muscles. 

You are advised to take Lafukem D 10 mg/30 mg Capsule for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition.
