Your doctor may recommend this medicine to help manage the following conditions:

• Differentiated thyroid cancer: Helps manage thyroid cancer that has spread or progressed and can no longer be treated with radioactive iodine.
• Advanced kidney cancer: Works in combination with other prescription medicines to treat advanced renal cell carcinoma after previous therapies have failed.
• Liver cancer: Used as a primary treatment for liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgical procedures.
• Advanced endometrial cancer: Used alongside specific immunotherapy medicines to treat advanced lining of the womb (uterine) cancer that has worsened and cannot be cured by surgery or radiation.

It offers targeted control against advanced cancers by focusing on the specific processes that allow tumours to grow. By directly blocking these pathways, the medicine provides several key benefits:

• Slowing disease progression: It helps delay the growth and spread of cancer cells, giving you more time where your disease remains stable.
• Tumour shrinkage: By cutting off the blood supply that tumours need to survive, this medicine can help shrink existing tumours or prevent them from getting larger.
• Preserving daily functioning: Because it is a targeted oral therapy rather than traditional chemotherapy, it allows many patients to manage their disease at home while maintaining a routine with supportive care.

• Lenva 10 mg Capsule 10's can be taken with or without food.
• Take Lenva 10 mg Capsule 10's once daily; however, follow your doctor's advice regarding the dosage and duration.
• Swallow Lenva 10 mg Capsule 10's as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, open, or split it.

• Monitor your blood pressure daily: Since high blood pressure is a very common side effect of this treatment, keep a daily log of your readings and share them with your healthcare team.
• Prevent dehydration: Drink plenty of clear fluids such as water, broth, or electrolyte solutions throughout the day, especially if you experience loose stools or diarrhoea.
• Care for your hands and feet: Apply thick, fragrance-free moisturising creams to your palms and soles daily to prevent redness, pain, or peeling skin (hand-foot syndrome).
• Eat smaller, frequent meals: If you experience nausea or a loss of appetite, try eating five or six small, nutrient-rich meals a day instead of three large ones to maintain your strength.
• Manage fatigue with planned rest: Keep a regular sleep schedule and plan short rest periods during the day, balancing them with light activities like short walks if you feel up to it.

• Check the blister packaging: Always inspect your medicine card before taking a capsule; do not use it if the foil is broken, torn, or damaged.
• Inform surgeons and dentists: This medicine can severely affect wound healing. Tell your dentist or surgeon you are taking it well in advance of any planned medical or dental procedures, as you may need to stop taking it temporarily.
• Do not breastfeed: Do not breastfeed during treatment and for at least one week after your final dose, as the medicine may pass into breast milk and harm your baby.
  Use highly effective birth control: Both men and women must use reliable contraception during treatment and for at least 30 days after the last dose to prevent pregnancy.
• Watch for severe stomach pain: Seek immediate medical attention if you experience sudden, severe stomach pain, as this medicine can cause rare but dangerous tears in the wall of your stomach or intestines.
