Levomac Oral Solution is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections in children such as chest infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and infection of the nose, sinuses and throat.

Levomac Oral Solution contains Levofloxacin, which kills infection-causing bacteria by inhibiting the activity of the DNA-gyrase enzyme found in bacteria. This prevents their ability to divide and repair.

Levomac Oral Solution may cause common side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, dizziness, and headache. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve eventually.  Nevertheless, if the side effects are persistent, contact your doctor.

If the child is allergic to levofloxacin or any of its ingredients, please inform your doctor. Before starting this medicine, inform your doctor if your child is taking any other medication or has any pre-existing medical conditions.
