Levosul 25 mg Injection 2 ml belongs to a group of medicines called 'prokinetics and antipsychotics' used to treat gastrointestinal problems like dyspepsia (indigestion), nausea, vomiting and diabetic gastro-paresis when oral therapy is not advisable/feasible. Additionally, Levosul 25 mg Injection 2 ml may also be used to treat psychosis, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, vertigo, Tourette’s syndrome, dizziness, irritable bowel syndrome, heartburn, peptic ulcers, and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Levosul 25 mg Injection 2 ml contains 'Levosulpiride', which enhances the contractions in the gut and stomach emptying. Thereby improves food movement through the gastrointestinal tract and treats disorders related to the stomach and intestines. Besides this, Levosul 25 mg Injection 2 ml also works by interfering with the activity of dopamine in the brain, thus improving mood.

Levosul 25 mg Injection 2 ml will be administered by a qualified healthcare professional; do not self-administer. Do not take Levosul 25 mg Injection 2 ml if you are allergic to any of its components; if you have pheochromocytoma (tumour in the adrenal glands), mania, epilepsy, pituitary gland prolactinoma (tumour of the pituitary gland), breast cancer, or porphyria (blood disorder). Inform your doctor if you have/had gastrointestinal bleeding, mechanical blockage/perforations, cerebrovascular problems, heart, kidney, or liver problems. Levosul 25 mg Injection 2 ml is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Levosul 25 mg Injection 2 ml may cause drowsiness; therefore, caution should be exercised while driving or operating machinery.
