Liosyn 20 mg Tablet is used to reduce and relieve muscle spasms (muscles with too tight or stiff) occurring due to multiple sclerosis (a disease that affects the brain and spinal cord), stroke, cerebral palsy (a disorder that affects movement and posture), spinal cord problems, and other nerve-related disorders. A muscle spasm is a sudden and uncontrollable tightening of a muscle, which can be painful and uncomfortable.

Liosyn 20 mg Tablet contains Baclofen, which works on the brain and spinal cord to help relax tight or stiff muscles.

In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as feeling sleepy, nausea, headache, weakness, or a dry mouth. These side effects usually go away on their own over time. However, talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects continuously.

Do not stop taking Liosyn 20 mg Tablet suddenly, as it may cause serious side effects like muscle stiffness (rigidity), fast heartbeat, mood changes, mental disorders, fever, confusion, hallucinations, or fits (seizures). Talk to your doctor before using Liosyn 20 mg Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Use Liosyn 20 mg Tablet with caution in children under 16 years, as there is limited information about its safety in this age group.

• Relief after cerebrovascular accidents (stroke): Liosyn 20 mg Tablet reduces involuntary muscle spasms and improves limb mobility.
