Lit Ap Tab is used to treat symptoms of a common cold, such as a runny nose, sneezing, itchy or watery eyes, and a blocked nose. The common cold is an infection of the nose and throat caused by viruses. Common cold symptoms include stuffy or runny nose, sore throat, cough, congestion, mild body pain, mild headache, sneezing, low-grade fever, and feeling unwell (malaise).
Lit Ap Tab contains paracetamol, levocetirizine, ambroxol, and phenylephrine. Paracetamol blocks chemical messengers that cause pain and fever. Levocetirizine inhibits histamine, a chemical messenger responsible for allergic symptoms like itching, rashes, and swelling. Ambroxol thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to cough out. Phenylephrine narrows small blood vessels, providing relief from congestion. Together, Lit Ap Tab relieves common cold symptoms.
Take Lit Ap Tab as prescribed by your doctor. In some cases, Lit Ap Tab may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, upset stomach, headache, fatigue, sleepiness, and loss of appetite.
