MASTIFEN TABLET may cause irritation, drowsiness, hyperactivity, and sleep disturbances. Most of these side effects of MASTIFEN TABLET do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Do not take MASTIFEN TABLET if you are allergic to Ketotifen or its ingredients. MASTIFEN TABLET is known to interact with epilepsy and liver impairment. It is advisable to avoid alcohol to prevent the chance of adverse effects such as dizziness. Before taking MASTIFEN TABLET, inform your doctor about your medical history and other medications you are now taking to rule out any potential adverse effects or interactions. Although there is no evidence of teratogenic consequences, using the MASTIFEN TABLET during pregnancy is not suggested. MASTIFEN TABLET is excreted into human milk; therefore, mothers receiving the drug should not breastfeed.

Drug-Drug Interactions: MASTIFEN TABLET may interact with other antihistamines (e.g. diphenhydramine), antidepressants (e.g. doxepin), anticoagulants (e.g. warfarin) and hypoglycemic drugs (e.g. metformin).

Drug-Disease Interactions: MASTIFEN TABLET may interact with disease conditions, including epilepsy and liver insufficiency.
