About MISTY GEL 10ML

MISTY GEL 10ML belongs to the class of medicines called 'ophthalmic lubricants' generally used to treat dry eye disease and eye irritation. Dry eye disease is a common condition that occurs if you don't produce enough tears or if you produce poor-quality tears. This tear instability leads to inflammation and damage to the eye's surface.

MISTY GEL 10ML contains 'Sodium carboxymethylcellulose'. MISTY GEL 10ML works by increasing tear viscosity in the eye. In this way, it provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort.

MISTY GEL 10ML should be taken as advised by your doctor. MISTY GEL 10ML causes common side effects like eye redness, burning eyes, stinging in the eyes, allergic reaction in the eye. If it persists take the advice of your doctor.

Before using this MISTY GEL 10ML, tell your doctor, if you are allergic to any one of the medicine components and wash the hands before using the MISTY GEL 10ML to avoid contamination. Do not touch the bottle's tip to avoid contamination and replace the cap tightly after each use. Do not use the solution, which is coloured changed, and cloudy in appearance. It is for external use only and use before the expiration date. Do not change or stop the dose of medicine without informing your doctor. Directions for Use

Take the MISTY GEL 10ML as advised by your doctor. Before taking MISTY GEL 10ML wash your hands to avoid contamination and do not touch the tip of the tube/bottle to avoid contamination and replace the cap tightly after each use. While applying MISTY GEL 10ML, tilt your head back and look up and then pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. Place the dropper directly into the eyes and squeeze out one/two drops as needed and then look down and gently close your eye for 2 to 3 minutes and then place one finger at the corner of the eye and one finger near the nose and apply gentle pressure so this will prevent the medication draining away from the eye but when it is applied first vision may be blurred temporarily. Incase of ointments slowly moves the eye in all directions to spread the ointment in the eye. If incase both the ointment/ drops are used at the same time, first use the drops and then ointments, so that drops will enter into the eye.
