About Montodex Tablet
Montodex Tablet is used to prevent asthma and treat allergic symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, congestion, stuffy nose, or watery eyes. Asthma is a chronic (long-term) respiratory condition in which airways narrow, swell, and produce extra mucus, leading to difficulty in breathing.
Montodex Tablet contains Acebrophylline, Montelukast, and Fexofenadine. Acebrophylline helps thin and loosen phlegm (mucus) in the lungs, windpipe, and nose. Montelukast blocks leukotriene action, which causes inflammation (swelling). Fexofenadine blocks the action of histamine, causing allergic reactions.
Some people may experience a skin rash, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, and stomach discomfort. Most of these side effects of Montodex Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
