Drug-drug interactions: Mucolcer 0.01% Gel 5 gm may interact with other corticosteroids or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), antifungals (itraconazole and ketoconazole), antibiotics (clarithromycin, telithromycin, and rifampicin), an antidepressant (nefazodone), blood thinners, birth control pills, diuretics, bronchodilators (theophylline), antiarrhythmic drugs (digoxin), anticonvulsants (phenytoin) and drug used to treat rheumatoid arthritis (cyclosporine).
Drug-food interactions: Avoid consumption of alcohol.
