Mucolite SR Capsule is primarily used to treat cough. It also treats acute (short-term) and chronic (long-term) respiratory diseases characterized by excess mucus. Coughing is the body’s way of clearing irritants (such as allergens, mucus, or smoke) from the airways.

Mucolite SR Capsule contains Ambroxol, which works by thinning and loosening phlegm (mucus) in the lungs, windpipe, and nose.

Mucolite SR Capsule may cause side effects like nausea, taste change, and numbness in the mouth, tongue and throat. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
