About Mucolite Syrup

Mucolite Syrup is primarily used to treat cough. It also treats acute (short-term) and chronic (long-term) respiratory diseases characterised by excess mucus. Coughing is the body’s way of clearing irritants (such as allergens, mucus, or smoke) from the airways.

Mucolite Syrup contains Ambroxol, which works by thinning and loosening phlegm (mucus) in the lungs, windpipe, and nose.

Mucolite Syrup may cause side effects such as nausea, changes in taste, and numbness in the mouth, tongue, and throat. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
