New Lunair-Plus Tablet 10's

New Lunair-Plus Tablet is used to prevent asthma and treat allergic symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, congestion, stuffy nose, or watery eyes. Asthma is a chronic (long-term) respiratory condition in which airways narrow, swell, and produce extra mucus, leading to difficulty in breathing. An allergy is a condition that occurs when the immune system reacts to a foreign substance that is typically not harmful to your body. These foreign substances are known as ‘allergens.’

New Lunair-Plus Tablet is a combination of three drugs: Acebrophylline (mucolytic), Montelukast (leukotriene receptor antagonist), and Fexofenadine hydrochloride (antihistamine). Acebrophylline is a mucolytic (cough/sputum thinner) agent that helps thin and loosen phlegm (mucus) in the lungs, windpipe, and nose. Montelukast works by blocking the action of chemicals called leukotrienes that are released from the lungs, causing inflammation (swelling) and increased mucus production in the airways. Thereby reducing inflammation, mucus production, and narrowing in the airways. Fexofenadine hydrochloride belongs to the class of antihistamines (anti-allergic drugs) that work by blocking the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions.  

Take New Lunair-Plus Tablet as prescribed. Your doctor will decide the dose and the duration of New Lunair-Plus Tablet use based on your medical condition. Some people may experience a skin rash, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, and stomach discomfort. Most of these side effects of New Lunair-Plus Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. 

If you are known to be allergic to New Lunair-Plus Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advised to inform your doctor before using New Lunair-Plus Tablet . New Lunair-Plus Tablet is not recommended for children unless advised by a doctor. Avoid alcohol consumption with New Lunair-Plus Tablet as it may increase drowsiness. Drive only if you are alert, as New Lunair-Plus Tablet may cause drowsiness or dizziness in some people. It is advised to maintain a 2-hour gap between taking New Lunair-Plus Tablet and indigestion remedies containing magnesium and aluminium, as taking these medicines simultaneously may reduce the absorption of New Lunair-Plus Tablet .

New Lunair-Plus Tablet is used to treat respiratory and allergic conditions caused by inflammation or allergens. The detailed uses of New Lunair-Plus Tablet are as follows:

• Asthma: New Lunair-Plus Tablet reduces inflammation, clears mucus, and minimizes breathing difficulties associated with asthma.
• Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD): New Lunair-Plus Tablet improves airflow and reduces symptoms like coughing, wheezing, and breathlessness in COPD patients.
• Relief from allergic rhinitis: New Lunair-Plus Tablet is used to treat sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, and itching caused by allergens.
• Bronchial inflammation: New Lunair-Plus Tablet reduces inflammation in the bronchial tubes and supports open airways.
• Prevention of seasonal allergies: New Lunair-Plus Tablet protects against allergens that cause allergic reactions, such as pollen and dust.

• New Lunair-Plus Tablet can be taken with or without food as advised by your doctor.
• It is usually to be taken once daily, preferably in the evening; however, follow your doctor’s advice regarding the dosage and duration.
• Swallow New Lunair-Plus Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break New Lunair-Plus Tablet .

If you notice changes in mood causing depression, self-harming thoughts or aggressive behaviour while taking New Lunair-Plus Tablet , please consult a doctor immediately. It is advised to maintain 2 hours gap between taking New Lunair-Plus Tablet and indigestion remedies containing magnesium and aluminium as taking these medicines at the same time may reduce the absorption of New Lunair-Plus Tablet . Regular monitoring of potassium levels is recommended while taking New Lunair-Plus Tablet as it may cause low potassium levels in the blood.
