About NODIMOX PLUS 500MG CAPSULE

NODIMOX PLUS 500MG CAPSULE belongs to a group of combination medications called 'penicillin antibiotics' that works against various types of bacteria. NODIMOX PLUS 500MG CAPSULE is generally prescribed for the prevention of various bacterial infections of the lungs, skin, kidneys, and bones. Bacterial infection occurs when bacteria enter the body and multiply and cause a reaction in the body.

NODIMOX PLUS 500MG CAPSULE contains two medicines, namely Amoxicillin and Cloxacillin. Amoxicillin acts by destroying the outer protein layer thereby killing the bacteria (bactericidal). Cloxacillin blocks the third and last stage of synthesis of the outer layer (cell wall) of bacteria. Together NODIMOX PLUS 500MG CAPSULE kills the bacteria and prevents the growth of bacterial infection.

NODIMOX PLUS 500MG CAPSULE is an oral medicine available as dispersible tablet and capsule. The dose of NODIMOX PLUS 500MG CAPSULE may depend upon the age (adults, children) and severity of condition. It can be taken after food to avoid stomach upset. Take it with a glass of water. NODIMOX PLUS 500MG CAPSULE may cause certain side effects such as rash, vomiting, allergic reaction, stomach pain, nausea, and diarrhea. Most of these side effects are mild and subside over time. However, if these persist contact your doctor immediately.

Directions for Use

Capsule: Take NODIMOX PLUS 500MG CAPSULE after food to avoid stomach upset. It can be taken with a glass of water. Do not chew, break or crush the capsule. Dispersible tablet (DT): Before taking this, take a glass of water and disperse the tablet in it and then drink it.

Drug Warnings
