OBRA F EYE DROPS 5ML belongs to ophthalmic eye medications primarily used to treat bacterial eye infections and reduce swelling, itching, and redness. OBRA F EYE DROPS 5ML is a combination of two drugs, namely: Tobramycin (antibiotic) and Fluorometholone (corticosteroid). Tobramycin belongs to the class of antibiotics that works by inhibiting the production of essential proteins that are necessary for bacteria to grow, multiply and increase in numbers. Thereby, it destroys bacteria. Fluorometholone belongs to the class of steroids that works by inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. Thereby, reduces the redness and swelling caused due to bacterial infections.

Use OBRA F EYE DROPS 5ML as prescribed by your doctor. OBRA F EYE DROPS 5ML is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use OBRA F EYE DROPS 5ML for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience eye irritation, eye redness, itchy or swollen eyelids, mild burning or stinging sensation in the eye, or eye discomfort. You are not recommended to wear contact lenses while using OBRA F EYE DROPS 5ML as it contains benzalkonium chloride, a preservative that changes the colour of the contact lens as it may be absorbed by soft contact lens. Benzalkonium chloride also causes irritation in the eye, especially if you have disorders of the cornea (transparent layer at the front of the eye) or dry eyes. Therefore, you are advised to remove contact lenses before applying OBRA F EYE DROPS 5ML and reinsert after 15 minutes of using OBRA F EYE DROPS 5ML. Also, inform your doctor if you experience pain, stinging or abnormal sensation in the eye after using OBRA F EYE DROPS 5ML.
