Ofron 0.3% Drops 10 ml

Ofron 0.3% Drops 10 ml is used to treat bacterial eye infections, including conjunctivitis and ulcers of the cornea. Conjunctivitis (pink eye) is a common bacterial eye infection associated with the inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva (white part of the eye) and the inner eyelid. 

Ofron 0.3% Drops 10 ml contains Ofloxacin, which works by inhibiting DNA gyrase (bacterial enzyme) that is involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thereby, it kills bacteria and clears infection.

Use Ofron 0.3% Drops 10 ml as prescribed by your doctor. Ofron 0.3% Drops 10 ml is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use Ofron 0.3% Drops 10 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience dry eyes, blurred vision, eye discomfort, eye redness, mild itching, or irritation in the eye. Most of these side effects of Ofron 0.3% Drops 10 ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. 

If you are allergic to Ofron 0.3% Drops 10 ml or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Ofron 0.3% Drops 10 ml should be used for children only in doses as advised by the doctor. Drive only if your vision is clear, as Ofron 0.3% Drops 10 ml may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after use. Ofron 0.3% Drops 10 ml is used in the treatment of bacterial eye infections. The detailed uses of Ofron 0.3% Drops 10 ml are as follows:

• Bacterial eye infections:Ofron 0.3% Drops 10 ml is used to treat bacterial infections of the eye such as conjunctivitis caused by bacteria.
• Corneal Ulcers:Ofron 0.3% Drops 10 ml is also used to treat corneal ulcers, especially those caused by bacterial infections.
• Pre and Post-Surgical Infection Prevention:Ofron 0.3% Drops 10 ml may be used to prevent infection before or after certain eye surgeries like cataract surgery by controlling harmful bacteria in the eye.

• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Squeeze a tiny amount of the cream/ointment into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.
• Ofron 0.3% Drops 10 ml is for ophthalmic use only.
• Do not touch the tip of the tube or other dispensing tip to any surface since this may contaminate ointment.
• If ointment becomes discolored, it should be discarded.
