Ofron-Oz 100Ml Infusion is an antibiotic used in treating bacterial infections. This medicine stops the growth of bacteria by inhibiting the gyrase enzyme and thereby helps reduce various bacterial infections of urinary tract, genital tract, chest, lungs, skin, and soft tissue. This medicine is not effective for treating viral infections. About Ofron-Oz 100Ml Infusion

Ofron-Oz 100Ml Infusion is used in the treatment of bacterial infections of the urinary tract, genital tract, chest, lungs, skin, and soft tissue. Bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. Ofron-Oz 100Ml Infusion does not work against infections caused by a virus.

Ofron-Oz 100Ml Infusion contains Ofloxacin, which works by interfering with bacterial enzymes and DNA gyrase involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thus, Ofron-Oz 100Ml Infusion kills bacteria and clears the infection. 

Ofron-Oz 100Ml Infusion will be administered by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administer. In some cases, you may experience redness, swelling or pain at the injection site, headache, nausea, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects of Ofron-Oz 100Ml Infusion do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. 

If you are allergic to Ofloxacin or other antibiotics or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. What if I have taken an overdose of Ofron-Oz 100Ml Infusion

Ofron-Oz 100Ml Infusion is administered by a health care professional in a hospital setting. Hence, the chances of overdose are less. Symptoms of overdose may include severe dizziness. Your doctor may take necessary measures if an overdose is suspected.
