Oftarx-CL Ear Drops 5 ml is used to treat bacterial and fungal infections of the ear. An ear infection occurs when bacteria or fungi affect the middle or outer ear, leading to pain and inflammation. Ear infections can be painful due to inflammation and fluid build-up.

Oftarx-CL Ear Drops 5 ml is a combination of four drugs, namely: Beclomethasone (corticosteroid), Clotrimazole (antifungal), Lidocaine or lignocaine (local anaesthetic), and Gentamicin (antibiotic). Beclomethasone works by inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. Thereby reducing the redness and swelling caused due to bacterial infections. Clotrimazole works by damaging the fungal cell membranes and killing fungi. Lidocaine decreases pain sensation by preventing pain signals from reaching the brain. Gentamicin works by inhibiting the production of essential proteins necessary for bacteria to grow, multiply and increase in numbers. Thereby, it destroys bacteria. 

Use Oftarx-CL Ear Drops 5 ml as prescribed by your doctor. Oftarx-CL Ear Drops 5 ml is only for use in ears. You are advised to use Oftarx-CL Ear Drops 5 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. Oftarx-CL Ear Drops 5 ml may cause side effects such as mild irritation, stinging, or burning sensation in the ear. • Oftarx-CL Ear Drops 5 ml is typically administered 2-3 times a day. However, follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication for effective results.
• It is for external use only.
• Use the dropper provided with the pack to instill the prescribed number of drops into the affected ear. Replace the outer cap after use.
• Avoid touching the container's tip to the ear or surrounding areas to prevent contamination.

Please do not touch the container's tip to the ear or surrounding areas as it may contaminate Oftarx-CL Ear Drops 5 ml. Use the solution within 1 month after opening the container. If you are using any other drops or remedies in the ear, inform your doctor before using Oftarx-CL Ear Drops 5 ml.
